Leading by Example and Experience
It all started with a grueling bike ride and a great idea. One fine day in 2019, Joe Fidanque and Miro Batista hit the road in their lycra shorts and returned with a plan: to once again create an impactful and successful BPO company.

Since 2002, Joe and Miro have been instrumental in establishing a robust BPO industry in Panama and shaping successful nearshore CX operations for numerous Fortune 1,000 companies. Today, they bring that wealth of experience and knowledge to Iterum Connections with a vision: to build an agile, scalable, innovative company that can ensure its partners’ success.

Miro Batista


Miro is a results-driven executive with a collaborative leadership style and an outstanding track record for growing businesses and assembling high-impact operating teams within multiple countries. His extensive knowledge of Latin America has helped maximize his clients’ success and boost shareholder value for several companies in the region. Miro’s other skills lie in change management, communication, and client and board relations.

Miro lives in Panama with his wife and two children, and he loves to hit the road on his bicycle whenever he finds the time.

Joe Fidanque III


As the Founder and President of Star Contact, Board Member for Superintendency de Bancos Panama (SBP), and Administrator for Tocumen International Airport, Joe has a wealth of experience across a variety of areas. He was appointed Director Ad Honorem at Fidanque Philanthropic Foundation and the Young Presidents Organization, and, as a fifth-generation member of an entrepreneurial family, Joe continues the legacy by co-founding Iterum.

Joe lives in Panama City with his wife and three kids, and he regularly competes in triathlon and Ironman competitions outside of work.
